Animation Competition

 
Welcome to the Sharp Shotz Animation Competition

Sharp Shotz is a chance for you and some friends to win the opportunity to work on your own story idea with Aardman. Now watch the short film.........

To Enter:
The competition is open to 11 to 18 year olds. To enter Teams of up to 6 members must create an innovative story idea for a short animated film that will deliver an awareness message on the consequences of either:

Guns and Knives
Or
Drugs

The Prize:
 
There will be one winner chosen for each of the 2 categories. The 2 winning teams will get the amazing opportunity to:
 

  • Produce their films with animaton students from the University of the West of England, with expert assistance from Aardman Animations

  • Take home a unique trophy made by Aardman - Makers of Wallace and Gromit
 
The Winning Teams and Runners up will also receive a mystery prize for each of the team members
 
The completed winning films will be available to watch on a wide range of websites and all secondary schools and youth groups in Bristol will be encouraged to play the films.
