In order to help teams gain a good understanding of their chosen category, and also how to develop their story ideas we have secured the help of some outside organisations who have kindly offered free workshops, unfortunately these are limited so please book early. In addition to the workshops we have listed some useful websites.
Workshops:
Paramedics: A series of 4 workshops covering the consequences associated with drugs, alcohol and knife use, as well as core first aid skills. These workshops are highly engaging and proved a great success last year. The workshops are delivered by Paramedic students from the University of the West of England under the expert eye of their senior lecturer Gary Smart.
Nilaari: A highly informative workshop focused on drugs and alcohol focused awareness delivered by the experienced youth team.
Community Resolve/Gang Awareness Project: An enlightening workshop on conflict, guns and knives delivered by this well respected coomunity organisat
UWE Animation Story Development Workshop: Delivered by Animation Students from the University of the West England, this engaging workshop has been designed to assist the Teams develop their story ideas, and create their storyboards.
